Here are some treasured local sights, attractions and activities that you simply can't go past according to our volunteers and the local residents of Beaudesert and the Scenic Rim.

If you'd like more information about a particular sight, attraction or activity contact us. All of our wonderful volunteers can assist you with any of the fabulous adventures listed here. There'll be so many things you want to do you'll be coming back.

Canungra and Tamborine Village food and wine tour

We hope that you enjoy this self-guided food and wine tour of Canungra and Tamborine Village. Here you'll travel in a large circle around the base of Tamborine Mountain and can be joined at any point. Please remember to drive responsibly.

Mt Nathan Winery

From Nerang take the Beaudesert-Nerang Road and continue straight at the traffic lights into Nerang-Murwillumbah Road (turning left at these traffic lights will take you towards Beaudesert).

Turn right into Clagiraba Road (approx 1km). Mt Nathan Winery is approximately 4km after the turn off on the left.

Stroll the grounds and enjoy an early farm tour (bookings required).

See honey operations and enjoy unique honey wines.

Take advantage of the cellar door experience.

O'Reillys Vineyard Canungra Valley

Turn left on exiting Mt Nathan Winery. Follow Clagiraba Road toward Beaudesert-Nerang Road (approx 2km).

At the T-intersection turn left into Beaudesert-Nerang Road and continue into Canungra township (approx 10km).

Turn left into Kidston St/Lamington National Park Road. Pass the historic Canungra Hotel and travel towards Lamington National Park for approximately 8 minutes.

On the right, stop at O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyard.

Stroll the beautiful grounds.

Enjoy the cellar door experience.

Take an early picnic lunch by the creek.

Sarabah Estate Vineyard & Winery

Exit O'Reillys Canungra Valley Vineyards and travel back towards Canungra for approximately 4 minutes.

Turn right into Sarabah Road.

Turn left into Rymera Road.

Stop at Sarabah Estate Vineyard & Winery.

Stroll the beautiful grounds.

Enjoy the cellar door experience with a cheese platter.

Enjoy lunch in the restaurant.

Albert River Wines

Exit Sarabah Estate Vineyard & Winery and return to Canungra.

Turn left at the T-intersection in town and travel towards Beaudesert.

Continue along the Beaudesert-Nerang Road for approximately 10 minutes.

On left, stop at Albert River Wines.

Stroll the grounds and enjoy the farmyard experience.

Sheep dog trials take place most days at 11am and 2pm.

Enjoy the cellar door experience.

Lunch is also available in the historic restaurant.

Tamborine Dragon Fruit Farm

Exit Albert River Wines, turn left and continue towards Beaudesert.

At the T-intersection of Beenleigh-Beaudesert Road turn right and travel towards Tamborine Village (Beenleigh).

On the right, stop at the Tamborine Dragon Fruit Farm just before entering Tamborine Village centre.

Enjoy a farm tour and taste the wonderful dragon fruit.

Morning tea and afternoon tea available.

Bearded Dragon Boutique Hotel

Exit Tamborine Dragon Fruit Farm and continue into Tamborine Village.

Turn right at the round-about and follow the road to Tamborine Mountain.

On the left, stop at the Bearded Dragon Hotel, less than 500m after the round-about.

Enjoy the sunset over the hills.

Take in a cold drink and a good meal in a relaxed atmosphere.

Going Home

Exit the Bearded Dragon, turn left and continue up Mount Tamborine Road towards Tamborine Mountain.

Follow the road past the Curtis Falls shopping strip on the left (the road becomes Geissmann Drive).

Continue to follow the road veering left past the main Tamborine Mountain shopping district (at this point the road becomes Main Western Road).

Continue along Main Western Road past the showgrounds.

Turn right at the roundabout and continue to follow the road past the Heritage Estate Winery.

Turn left at Wilson Road and follow signs to Henri-Robert Drive.

Continue along Henri Robert Drive to the T-intersection of Beaudesert-Nerang Road.

Turn left to return to Nerang and turn right to return to Canungra.
